Day 5: Blue Mountain

As soon as we arrived, Blue Mountain reminded me so much of Sun Peaks and Whistler, both places I have done blog posts on so be sure to check them out! Blue Mountain has many shops and activities and our favourite part was riding the Ridge Runner. The Ridge Runner is a individual roller coaster that runs along the mountain and has stunning views.

Did you know Blue Mountain has an elevation of 1,480 feet (base 750 feet) and has 12 lifts and 42 trails, including 30 night-lit trails.

Day 5: Wasaga Beach

On day 5, we also went to Wasaga beach. It was very windy but overall a very beautiful place but it gets kind of busy and loud. I would definitely recommend this beach because of it’s white sand and beautiful lake.

Did you know Wasaga Beach is one of the premier tourist destinations in the world and home to the World’s Longest Freshwater Beach.

Day 6: Driving to the Bruce Peninsula

Day 6 we drove to the Bruce Peninsula. On the way, we drove through downtown Collingwood and got a few pictures. We also stopped at Sauble Beach for a very short hike and we dipped our feet in Sauble Falls. Sauble Falls is made up of a lots of tiny waterfalls and is very peaceful and beautiful. Me and my mom also dipped our feet in it’s refreshing water and it felt nice and cool. Make sure to go to Sauble Beach if you enjoy fun, short hikes and refreshing waterfalls!

Did you know that Sauble Beach is the second longest freshwater beach in the world (The first being Wasaga Beach), and is located on Lake Huron.
