On the second leg of our trip, we stayed in Tofino! Tofino has just become one of my favourite places to camp and here is why.
Skim Boarding & Bodysurfing
In Tofino, there are beautiful beaches so of course we bought skim boards. Me and my friends spent hours on the beach learning how to skim board and eventually trying bodysurfing. The waves were great at the beach by our campground but we discovered another one called Chesterman Beach which is actually a surfing beach so the waves were even better there.
Paddleboarding
Again, we paddleboarded along the beach and me and my friend found a fun little “water slide” made up of rocks. It was quite fun but I think I enjoyed body surfing more.
Roy Henry Vickers Art Gallery
One day, we went into Tofino’s town and saw a sign for an art gallery. I have learnt a lot about this particular artist during art class and I think his art pieces are stunning.
I love Tofino and it has become one of my favourite places to camp. I would definitely recommend camping there because of it’s many activities and if you do, make sure to get tacos from Tacofino because they are delicious.
