Holiday Park Resort

For our first camping trip of the summer, we camped at Holiday Park Resort. This was overall one of the best campgrounds we have gone to and I would highly recommend staying there.

Some perks of the campground were the free WIFI, numerous pools, and various activities. Additionally, the people were amazingly friendly and it was so entertaining hearing everybody’s story.

An activity that the Holiday Park Resort provides is the Canada Day parade. It was so fun watching the people in the parade an we could watch it right from our site!

The only thing I was disappointed by was the campground lake. We tried paddle boarding around the lake but it was very weedy and on the day we went, it was extremely windy. Overall I loved the campground and would definitely stay there again.

Wibit Kelowna

During this trip, we celebrated my birthday!!! As a treat, we went out for lunch and then to Okanagan Lake Wibit. At first, the Wibit was super busy because there was a school there as well, but after a while it started to get less busy and was really fun!

Kangaroo Creek Farm

One of the things that I was most looking forward to was the kangaroo farm! It was everything I had hoped it would be, plus more! There were kangaroos, capybaras, and even a sugar glider! This was my favourite part of our trip and I would totally recommend going here!

Okanagan Rail Trail

On this trip, we brought our bikes and did the Okanagan Rail Trail Bike Ride. It was really hot on the ride and it was mostly the same scenery so I didn’t like it a lot but I’m glad we did it.

Pane Vino – A Hidden Gem!

A couple minutes away from our campground, was a restaurant called Pane Vino. This pizza place was based on the Neapolitan era. They cook their pizza for 90 seconds in a really hot oven and you are supposed to eat the gigantic pizzas with a knife and fork.

Mill Creek Falls

The hike we went on for this trip is called Mill Creek Hike. I really liked this hike because it wasn’t super long but it still had a lot of nice scenery and a waterfall at the end. I would definitely recommend this hike and it would be great for kids of all ages.

Like I said, this was an overall fantastic trip and I would highly recommend staying there because of the activities, the friendly people, and many amenities.
